About League Sources

If you spent that much time to stumble upon this page - Hello! We really appreciate your interest.

This publication was started as a hobby to satisfy our creative side of the brain. We love sports and satirical writing, so why not combine both? Outside of intermittent posts from The Onion, we felt this niche of satire is sorely lacking and decided to contribute as much as we can.

Sports is already such a ridiculous activity; filled with hard to believe teams, owners, GMs, players, history, and moments that there are so many different avenues we can take in terms of writing on a daily basis. (I mean just look at the New York Jets and the Cleveland Browns - need I say more?). As such, this publication will be jumping around many different sports across different levels. We may write about the NFL one day and the WNBA the next depending on what we feel is the most ridiculous trending topic.

By the way, when we refer to ourselves as “we” - I mean the two of us - Chris and William. We are both recent graduates from our respective colleges who happen to share the love for this project and write in our free time. We are always looking for more writers, so whether you are hobbyists or otherwise, shoot us a message if you’d like to contribute. Otherwise, please subscribe to keep in touch and if you’d like to support us in a more meaningful way by becoming a paid subscriber, we’d really appreciate it. Paid subscription will grant you full access to our paywalled exclusive articles for our paid members as well as access to community comments and chat!

How much does the League Sources subscription cost? $6 a month, or only $4.17 a month if you buy a yearly subscription. By contrast, a single hot dog at Soldier Field costs $12, so would you rather have a half a dog or support your favorite writers?

Whatever subscription you choose, welcome!

Love,

William

P.S. And if you have friends who might enjoy League Sources, please spread the word. Thank you!
